After about 5 hours of no power, it finally came back on! I totally could’ve sworn it was 94 degrees outside with no sight of any storm on it’s way. But that’s Oklahoma for ya. Anyway, I just hope my car’s okay… A lot of my friends’ windshields were shattered… Hopefully it’ll be fine when I check on it in the morning. Fingers crossed!

Every single prayer, wish made on a fallen eyelash, first star in the night sky, shooting star, 11:11, candle blown out on a birthday, coin thrown into a fountain, and every dandelion seed blown is for the exact same thing. It’s not only a wish, but it’s a dream. A dream that I’ve wanted to accomplish/be since I was 5 years old. I continue to tell myself this Chinese proverb, “冰凍三尺，非一日之寒.” Which means great things cannot be accomplished in a short period of time. But why do I still feel like I’ll never be able to accomplish it?
